Government Open to Debate, Within Rules
In an all-party meeting held on July 20 ahead of the session, the government expressed its readiness to discuss all issues, including the highly sensitive Operation Sindoor, while firmly stating that such discussions must adhere to parliamentary rules and procedures.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju called for constructive cooperation, emphasizing the need for smooth legislative functioning. However, he also issued a caution that debates on security matters must remain within constitutional boundaries.
