Jaipur, Rajasthan – In a significant development for the Indian media landscape, The Shining Media has officially acquired 100% ownership of Business Headline, marking a strategic consolidation under the leadership of its founder, Indian journalist and entrepreneur Aryan Jakhar.
The Shining Media, a non-profit news publishing organization, was launched by Jakhar in late 2021 with the mission to deliver independent, reader-focused journalism. Shortly after its launch, The Shining Media introduced Business Headline — a digital platform dedicated to covering business, finance, markets, and the economy. At the time of its inception, Business Headline had onboarded a limited group of private investors to help scale the platform.
Over time, Aryan Jakhar and The Shining Media maintained partial ownership of Business Headline, holding a significant but non-controlling stake. However, in a decisive move to streamline leadership and strengthen editorial direction, The Shining Media has now acquired all remaining shares from the original investors, regaining full ownership of Business Headline. As a result, Business Headline is now completely owned by The Shining Media — and indirectly by Aryan Jakhar, its original founder.
“This acquisition represents more than just a change in structure — it’s about strengthening our mission and creating space for innovation,” Jakhar said in a statement. “With The Shining Media taking full charge, we can now align our teams, goals, and technology to take Business Headline to the next level.”
Despite its rising readership and growing brand presence, Business Headline has not yet entered profitability. Similarly, The Shining Media continues to operate as a non-profit entity, prioritizing independent and ethical journalism over commercial gain. Moving forward, Jakhar has expressed a renewed focus on turning Business Headline into a self-sustaining venture, with plans to invest in digital infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and monetization strategies that do not compromise journalistic values.
Industry observers see the full acquisition as a natural progression for the brand and a promising sign of things to come. With unified leadership and Jakhar’s continued commitment to innovation in Indian media, Business Headline is now expected to pursue growth with greater clarity and determination.
As The Shining Media and Business Headline begin this new chapter together, all eyes are on how Jakhar will lead the business news platform toward profitability — while staying true to the editorial independence and integrity that have defined his media ventures since day one.
